Good evening.
This is a very strange way of working isn’t it? But it’s lovely to be able to work with Spirit again. I haven’t worked since the end of February/beginning of March. It feels like a very long time and I feel like an absolute newbie again. So please send me your energy and bear with me.
As I said, it’s a very strange time that we’re living in at the moment, with most of us unable to see our friends, our loved ones. But it has given us the time to reflect and slow the pace of life down. It’s made us realise what’s important in our lives. For me it’s my family, my father, my daughter, son in law, and especially my lovely grandchildren. I haven’t seen them since the middle of February and it’s absolutely killing. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before I can go and see them.
Throughout all of this, my little old cat has been my constant companion and I think that’s the same for an awful lot of people. Animals have always been so important for me throughout my life, I’ve always been a great animal person, I’d rather spend my time with animals, than with people really.
My little cat has been my constant companion and even when it’s been so hot, she still insisted on sitting there right next to me, if she could get in my skin, I think she would. I know that she’s finding it very strange as well. Being able to go out in the garden whenever she wants to, because normally I’m at work and now I’m working from home. So the doors are open so she can wander. Well, she thought she could wander but I’ve got blackbirds who have been nesting in the garden and one of them sits on the washing line and as soon as she comes out the door the blackbirds start chirping at her and chasing her back indoors. So a bit of a strange role reversal there. She’s a silly old tabby cat, but she’s my tabby cat.
Things like that have been quite uplifting in these strange times. We all need a little bit of joy and upliftment, all the little things like going out in the garden and seeing all the butterflies and the birds. I’ve never seen so many butterflies and birds in my garden and it must have to do with the lack of pollution in the air as we’re not driving everywhere. It’s made me realise that actually, I don’t need my car quite as much as I thought I did. I’m not going to give it up though. Lots of things that we thought were important are now not important. Going out and having an evening in the pub is not important anymore, we can just meet up socially with friends online or have socially distanced meetings in gardens. So things have changed. As a society I think we’ve become calmer and we’ve had time to appreciate life and listen to ourselves and spirit guides.
Hopefully it won’t be too much longer before we can physically hug each other because it’s the physical contact that we’re really missing now.
So thank you very much for listening to me and I send out my love to everybody
