In December last year (2017) Pamela Jeanetta Bird Gaines from the Benfleet Community Archive contacted us as part of her research in to the previous owner of a house in Benfleet, Miss March.
Miss March also happens to be the founder of our Church, which began in her home on Manor Road with 11 Members Present.
The timing of this request was poignant, with 2018 signifying out 85th anniversary.
Unfortunately, we have few records about the Church dating back further than the 80’s (see the History Page), so we could not provide much help, but Pamela has done an excellent job expanding some of the history around Miss March, which you can find on her post linked below:
