Dear Friends,
Thank you for your patience while we have taken a very cautious approach to reopening the Church building.
The Church Committee and Trustees held a joint meeting on 31st July, after the Government’s announcement of the same day.
Despite the slow down in reopening some areas of society, the restrictions on those who are shielding has now lifted. We know this has affected many in our congregation so we feel we can now be fully inclusive of everyone and it’s the right time to open the building!
In-Church Services
Our first In-Church Divine Service will be held on Sunday 9th August 2020 but you must book a place and follow the COVID-Secure rules that apply to all Churches.
Please read our COVID-Secure webpage carefully: www.thundersley.org.uk/covid-secure
Face coverings must now be worn in places of worship so please bring one with you.
There are several other changes you need to know about which you can find on our COVID-Secure information page.
Book Your Place
Due to physical distancing we have limited seating available. We also need to capture your details for contact tracing.
So you will need to book a place before coming to a service. You can do this via our events page, Facebook, telephone call or text message.
We will confirm your place subject to availability.
Online Streaming
As announced previously we are going to continue live streaming the divine service online.
Our online congregation will join with our in-church congregation for the first part of the service which includes the opening prayers, healing prayers and bible reading.
Then our online congregation will go over to a separate online medium who will provide the spiritual address and deliver messages online only. While our in-church congregation will work with the medium who is in Church.
We believe this will give you the best experience whether you are in-church or online.
Any Questions?
